Privacy Information Notice for External Guests of the Department of Engineering “Enzo Ferrari” (DIEF)

Categories of Processed Data and Purposes
During your stay within the premises of the Department of Engineering “Enzo Ferrari” at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, certain personal data will be collected (e.g., first name, last name, organization/institution, access badge if applicable), necessary for the following purposes:
- managing access to restricted areas of the Department;
- ensuring the safety of individuals and the security of facilities;
- documenting the formal acknowledgment of safety regulations.
Legal Basis for Processing
Art. 6, par. 1, letter e) GDPR – performance of a task carried out in the public interest related to the management of workplace safety and access to university premises.
Data Retention
The data will be retained for the period strictly necessary to manage access and in any case for no longer than 30 days, unless extensions are required for justified safety or verification purposes.
